The 13th International Symposium on Drug Analysis and

the 36th International Symposium on Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis

The Organizing Committee of the International Symposium DA-PBA 2026 is delighted to announce the upcoming edition of the symposium, scheduled to take place in Ghent, Belgium, from July 6th to 9th, 2026.

This event will be a joint gathering of two renowned symposium series: the 13th International Symposium on Drug Analysis and the 36th International Symposium on Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis. It continues a long-standing tradition of successful symposia hosted by the Belgian Society of Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSPS) in various Belgian cities, including Brussels (1983, 1986, 1998), Antwerp (1989, 2010), Liège (1992, 2014), Leuven (1995, 2018), Bruges (2002), Namur (2006) and Mons (2022).

DA-PBA 2026 aims to bring together leading experts from academia, industry, and regulatory bodies worldwide, focusing on both fundamental and applied aspects of pharmaceutical analysis.

The symposium will cover a broad range of topics in pharmaceutical and biomedical analysis, including cutting-edge techniques and innovative approaches. It will address various classes of therapeutics such as small molecules, oligonucleotides, biologics, vaccines, as well as gene, cell, and tissue-based therapies. Special attention will also be given to the environmental and ecological impact of pharmaceuticals as well as on the use of artificial intelligence in pharmaceutical analysis.

Registration and abstract submission will open end of December 2025.
